Still Here

You are gone,
I’m alone.
But though this is so,
I know you’re here.
For you left,
But you’re still here,
Never quite leaving
Your place;

In my heart.

Why We Weren’t on.

Basically Elle currently can’t be on during weekdays (weekdays: sun, mon, tue, wed, thur) (long story, don’t worry) and I had a bunch of tests that I needed to study for. But I am back on fully and we do also take edit requests :) Feel free to ask us anything, we always have time for you.

Defeated and Conquered

Expectations;
It broke her.
Pressure;
It killed her.

Too much,
It was all too much.
She can’t,
Not anymore.

No more,
Did she care,
No more,
Did she try.

It was,
As she said,
Bliss,
Complete bliss.

Her life,
It went spiraling
Into the deep
Dark abyss.

The disappointments,
Disapprovals,
She tried to ignore.
But not anymore.

It hurt,
The critical stares.
So much of it.
What had she done?

She braved
The storms.
She fought
The currents.

Until she,
Finally,
Got back up,
From that phase.

Another lapse
Into sadness,
Defeated,
And conquered.

Nostalgia

It was wonderful,
Your only escape.
Fields of green,
And flowers of pink.
It was beautiful.

You remember,
Those times long gone,
When you had run
Across these plains.
Oh what fun it was.

You smile, nostalgic,
At the budding flower.
This had been your paradise,
Where your fairy tales came true.
It was majestic.

Anonymous asked: Any tips on writing?

Dear Anon,

I suggest you let the words flow.

When writing, you never want to get distracted. Don’t eat, don’t do ANYTHING at all. Just write. (And breathe, of course.)

Sincerely,
Elle

Watch Finding Forrester, it’ll give you pointers on how to write ;)

Also read. Read all sorts of books from different authors and different genres. Try to understand while reading, there are so many subliminal messages. Reading should expand you vocab and help you flow sentences. Remember Practice makes Perfect -Lara
