Try and hint that you’re not attracted to him/her very subtly by pairing him/her up with everyone but yourself.

If the last one did work, another good tactic is to keep reminding them that they are like family to you. That’s the most obvious way of friend zoning someone these days. The message will be loud and clear and they will hopefully give up on you.

However, you could also try the direct approach. Just tell him/her that you value your friendship and don’t want to complicate it with a relationship.

Just be honest to yourself and this person. It will all work out in the end.
